HAVE YOU EVER HEARD CYBERBULLYING?

Hello again everyone !

Today I am going to share my experience which is making... an INFOGRAPHIC ✐.

Our task was creating an infographic about Legal & Ethical issues in technology use. I needed to choose one of the sub-topics and I chose ''Cyberbullying''. Actually design process was really hard for me to complete because I've never done a project like this before. However, I think I did a great job for my first time doing an infographic. So how was the process of making infographic for me?

It was a process that both educational and challenging for me. The hardest part was being able to present complex information simply and effectively. It took me a time to create a design that would capture the reader's attention by using a balance of images and text.

I think infographics can be a great benefit in the English classroom. For students, visually-rich materials can help them understand and retain information faster. Especially in simplyfing complex concepts and improving vocabulary, infographics can be very effective in language learning.

Preparing infographics about a topic helps students gain research, analyze information, and visual presentation skills. It also, encourages creative thinking and allows students to be more active in their own learning processes. For these reasons, I believe that infographics should be used more in language learning.

PSA ABOUT DEPRESSION

 Hello everybody!! 😸😸 Today I am going to share our project making a ''Digital Story'' with my group members, İrem and Halil. There were three options for us to choose and we wanted to do a PSA to bring awareness about depression rates in our country, Türkiye, because I think many people just ignore it or assume that it is a simple illness that everyone may go through.  What difficulties did I run into while making the PSA? Actually, my part was pretty easy compared to other members, I think. I was a narrator and did research to use the information about the rates of depression in Türkiye. However, there wasn't that much information in the near years; that was a shock for me because depression is prevalent among many teenagers and adults. Would I be using this for my students in the future? I think it is a great opportunity for learners to gain understanding about digital literacy about video/text/audio.
