Current Issues' Land in ELT

Hey everyone! As we approach the end of the semester, it is time to say goodbye for this blog journey. The Current Issues in Teaching course has been, by far, one of the most thought-provoking, productive, and sometimes—I am not going to lie—frustrating courses. But when I look back, I am very glad I took this course because it made me make better use of technology both in my daily life and teaching experience. I think the most powerful part of this course was that it really put current teaching approaches into practice. AI-enhanced CBLP, flipped teaching material, AR/VR, and AI-enhanced tasks assure lesson plans... They were all jobs that sounded cool but required effort when put to work. If it had a weakness, it was sometimes the heavy workload. Time management was particularly challenging, especially for assignments with multiple stages :(.
